Remote Shoots

Using a tethering cable, I will link my camera up to my laptop, launch Capture One Pro (my tethering software) and share my screen with you via Zoom. I am then able to hand over remote control to you so you have access to all of the camera settings you normally would (aperture, ISO, shutter speed, focal point etc), you're in complete control. You also own the copyright to the images. All images captured will save directly to my laptop and will then be sent to you via Dropbox after the shoot has finished! I aim to deliver the images within an hour, but this time will vary depending on how many images are taken/location dependent. You will receive RAW files. I host remote shoots for travelling models as well as myself.
What do I need?
- You will need a laptop/PC, Zoom, good WiFi & a comfortable place to sit.
- You should be able to communicate with me via Zoom so you'll need a microphone and ideally a camera so we can see each other! A mobile phone/tablet will NOT work.
What equipment do you use?
- Nikon D750 full frame DSLR camera.
- 50mm Nikon 1.8 lens, Sigma 85mm 1.4 art lens & Sigma 35mm 1.4 art lens.
- Full Elinchrom studio strobes, x1 Godox AD200 Pro & x2 V1 Godox speedlight
- Various modifiers including 150cm soft box/with grid, 140cm soft box & x2 120cm soft box/with grid, beauty dish, reflectors, barn doors, gels etc
What are the costs?
- For a standard remote shoot in my home studio it is £60 p/h working to tasteful nude.
- As I host remote shoots around the country when I am touring the costs may vary from venue to venue.
- Working with another model in my home starts from £80 p/h which is inclusive of my assistance.
- My husband J Black Photographic can be hired alongside remote shoots too, saving me more time to be in front of the camera. His fee is £20 p/h on top of any remote.

Ts & Cs
- Files aim to be delivered within 1-4 hours although this can be longer depending on amount of files & internet speed.
- I will wait 20 minutes past the scheduled timeslot before I will consider the shoot cancelled.
- It is your responsibility to be sure of any time differences.
- The screen should NEVER be screen recorded.
- Models can free pose easier during remote shoots, if an image is captured above their stated level it will be removed before the files are sent.
